Diablo 4 sales exceed Diablo: Immortal's yearly revenue within 5 days of release

Diablo: Immortals microtransactions are already legendary, bringing in lucrative revenue for Blizzard. Diablo 4, however, has created a new miracle after its release, and its revenue has left Diablo: Immortal behind in just five days.
Within five days of its official release, Diablo 4 broke expectations by earning more than $666 million. No doubt this will continue for months to come. And according to Data.ai, Diablo: Immortal earned $525 million in its first year online, slightly behind Diablo 4.
It is worth noting that Diablo: Immortal's revenue figures do not include those for the Chinese market and PC.
There are several reasons for this phenomenon, mainly the official hype and publicity Diablo 4 has received since its reveal in 2019. Whereas Diablo: Immortal was initially slated to be a handheld game (don't you guys have phones?) ), there was little to no hype, and even when it was ported to PC, it felt rough. Of course, before Diablo 4 was released, Diablo: Immortal was an excellent time-killing Diablo game with not-bad storytelling and some areas that appealed to players.
Now that Diablo 4 is officially on sale, it is impossible to know if Diablo: Immortal's income will drop, but Immortal is still fun to play as a Diablo spin-off.
