Diablo 4 will launch a combat pass for any class

Diablo 4's upcoming Combat Pass will not be limited to a single class but will accommodate a wide range of possible body types. Despite Diablo 4 players' dissatisfaction with the microtransaction prices, the basic game gear allows them to implement a wide variety of character concepts. As opposed to paying $28 for a set of armor, Combat Passes in Diablo 4 will be available by spending $10 on the Premium Combat Pass Bonus Track and slowly working your way through the levels over three months.
Diablo 4's battle pass will also grant players premium currency, which effectively means players will be able to buy premium armor by patiently accumulating it over the course of a year. How much profit Blizzard makes from microtransactions remains to be seen. Sales of Diablo 4 have already broken multiple records, and despite its commercial and critical success, Diablo 4 has been hampered by some shortcomings.
In response to a tweet discussing the price of the Diablo 4 battle pass, general manager Rod Fergusson revealed that the cosmetics that appear in the first season of Diablo 4, and any subsequent seasons, will be level-agnostic. This would be a positive difference from the Diablo system, where the battle pass forced players to pick gear for only one tier.
While the news is exciting, many players were hoping that Blizzard would offer a plethora of easy cosmetics on the battle pass rewards track. While character customization in Diablo IV is fun, fans are expecting a true black color palette, and forums speculate that it's likely to appear in one of the game's upcoming seasons.
With the first season rolling out in mid-July, it won't be long before players can get their first batch of costumes through the battle pass system, as Overwatch 2's rewards track becomes more similar to Diablo 4's. obvious. Diablo 4's status as a live service game will hopefully allow developers to refine it into the ultimate Diablo experience, as the foundations established at launch certainly show promise. Blizzard has announced two expansions for Diablo 4, showing confidence in supporting its latest entry for many years to come. Affordable class-agnostic cosmetics will certainly help in this effort.
