Diablo 4: How to get Blue Rose

Sanctuary wizards farm unique rings that reduce mana cost and increase damage. This is how to get the Blue Rose in Diablo 4, which is required to create the Frost Mage.

Blue Roses are random and unique drops. This means it can be obtained in multiple ways in World Tier 3 or in Sanctuary in WT4. Whether you're farming Helltide chests, crafting whispers for whisper trees, or digging through nightmare dungeons, the chances of a ring showing up are slim to none.

However, the final boss Uber Duriel (also known as Duriel's Echo) introduced in Season 2 has Blue Rose listed as a drop candidate for Sorcerers. Summoning him is a tedious task, but his death increases the chance that he will drop ice items. Not only that, but when collecting summoning parts, you can collect unique items from bosses you've encountered in the past, and potentially get a special mount from the Lord of Pain.

Blue rose status

The Blue Rose affix is extremely powerful when used in cold demon builds, greatly increasing the damage of ice spikes. If obtained from Uber Duriel, the item's power will be 925. Furthermore, at that level

+8% Resistance to All Elements
+8% Cold Resistance
+% Critical Strike Damage [14.0-21.0]%
+% Ice Spike Damage [21.0-42.0]%
+% Lucky Hit Chance [3.2-6.0]%
% Mana Cost Reduction [9.5-16.5]%
Lucky Blow: When you deal damage to an enemy, an ice spike is created with a 30% maximum chance of exploding, causing [1,724-2,413] Cold Damage. If the enemy is frozen, this chance is tripled.
If you focus on increasing your lucky hit rate, you can do an additional 2,000 points of damage per attack. This is incredibly powerful for an ice cannon like the mage.
