There are many tasks to complete in the Sanctuary. Some tasks are easier to complete than others, and some tasks seem difficult, but they really aren't. What's confusing is what to do at a particular location. Here's how to complete The Secret of the Fountain and solve the puzzles in Diablo 4.
How to solve the fountain mystery
To solve the fountain's secret riddle, use the "wait" emote once you arrive at the quest fountain. The specific steps are as follows- Open the action wheel by pressing 'E' on PC or 'Up' on the D-Pad on PlayStation and Xbox.
- If you switch to the expression wheel, you'll notice that the "wait" command is not here.
- Click on the "Customize" option and find from the list of other emojis.
- Equip and use this emote. This will cause the treasure chest to magically appear near you.
How to start the secret of spring water
If you want to start Diablo 4's side quest "Secret of the Fountain," you can do so by reading a note found in a workspace along the cliff north of Kyovashad. As you head north from town, you'll find a narrow path leading to the Forsaken Quarry Dungeon.The note is located overlooking the entrance to the dungeon. I marked it with an asterisk on the map below.
When you interact with this memo, the following riddle will be read out loud. "A beacon of warmth in winter's embrace, the patient reward of nature's bounty." This will allow you to track the "Secret of Spring" quest in your log. Then head to the marked location. When you arrive, you'll notice an antique spring. Once there, follow the steps above to solve the puzzle.
