The start of the NBA offseason means that the entire league may be shaking. Several stars have changed jerseys, while others will enter the 2023 NBA draft.It's that time of year when basketball fans also start looking forward to the next season and the latest edition of NBA 2K.
Now that NBA 2K24 is officially confirmed, here's what we know about the game.
On July 6, 2K officially announced the list of players on the cover of "NBA 2K24".

2K chose the number 24 for the cover of NBA 2K24. The legend Kobe Bryant is on the cover of Kobe Bryant and the Black Mamba Edition. Preorders for each edition will open on July 7.
What platforms will NBA 2K24 be available on?
NBA 2K24 may launch on the same platform as 2K23, but that has not been confirmed. These systems include PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Also, like the previous series, a Nintendo Switch version may also be released.
NBA 2K24 may also be available on Xbox Game Pass. However, this will be later in the game's life cycle.
What features will NBA 2K24 have?
Details about the game modes that will be installed in NBA 2K24 are unknown. However, franchise staples MyTeam and MyCareer may return for this year's game. Also, MyGM should return in 2K24.
When is the release date for NBA 2K24?
2K has yet to announce a release date for the game. 2K typically announces preliminary information and release dates for new NBA 2K games in early July.
According to precedent, 2K24 should be released in September. "NBA 2K23" will be released globally on September 9th, and "2K22" will be released on September 10th. If "2K24" is released on September 8, 2023, it will continue the trend of recent years.
