Fortnite: Players not satisfied with new icon series skins

A new J Balvin Icons skin for Fortnite has disappointed Fortnite players by merely recoloring an older skin's design. In Fortnite, recolored skins are usually available as an option; however, the new one is a separate purchase that costs 1,500 V-Bucks.
The Horizon and Cosma skins, Coachella Pulse Pickaxe, and Mirage Glimmer Guitar, as well as other cosmetic items like them, will be available until April 20 as part of Fortnite's Coachella collaboration. Doja Cat, Blur, and Lil Uzi Vert performed a variety of songs on the Main Stage of the Fortnite Festival from April 11 to April 18. While these were not controversial additions, the most recent crossover has not been well received.
MeowsclesOnlyfans, a Redditor, posted a picture to the FortniteBR subreddit comparing the new J Balvin skin to his older skin, which was added in 2021. The one next to the other picture clarifies that the two skins are essentially indistinguishable other than their varieties, with the enhanced one brandishing an orange, red, and white look, while the 2021 rendition sports a purple, blue, and pink look. Users will need to spend an additional 1,500 V-Bucks to purchase J Balvin's new Inferno Skeleton outfit, despite the striking similarities. While some fans were not particularly surprised by Epic's decision, others agreed with the original poster that the new skin should have been added as a style for the older J Balvin outfit.
New J Balvin Fortnite Skin Uses Old Plan and Recolors It
J Balvin's new Fortnite skin can be bought independently or as a component of a 1,800 V-Buck pack that incorporates the Zappy Go Backy back bling and Mi Gente jamtrack. A LEGO style for the J Balvin skin is included in both the bundle and the stand-alone offer. Until April 22, these items will be available in Fortnite's shop.At the moment, customers can browse other Icon offers in the shop, such as Lady Gaga's Fortnite skin and a variety of items based on The Weeknd, including his own skin. Like the J Balvin skin, each skin costs 1,500 V-Bucks when purchased separately.
After Fortnite's 2024 roadmap may have leaked, it appears that the game's next icons were made public. Billie Eilish, Metallica, Karol G, and Snoop Dogg were mentioned in the roadmap as coming to Fortnite Festival later this year. It is interesting to note that the leak also stated that Fortnite OG will receive a second chapter, that Marvel will return in August, and that the upcoming season will have an apocalyptic theme.
